This place has a great food selection. Lighting is kind of dim for my liking, but I believe that is the vibe they are going for Food was excellent I would to back in function room again The building is very cool and stylish. I love the open fire in the basement area....

Absolutely our favorite place when we want to treat ourself to wonderful meal. All the staff are pleasant, the rooms are warm and quaint each with there own fireplace.

Food and ambience was amazing!! Can't stop thinking about how delicious our meals were.. seafood risotto and clam chowderand meatloaf!

Cozy pub and dining room in a historic house built in 1640. Moderately upscale pub menu with traditional New England fare alongside modern dishes. Dining room more formal versions of the same. Tasty, well prepared, and generous portions. Excellent cocktails and friendly service too.

What can I say. I lot! cocktails big and well made..... I ordered a Kettle Martini and it was delicious! and I like to drink a martini. I ordered seafood carbonara and loved it! big portions enough to take home to my teens. Atmosphere campy old school and worth a visit.. you will love it...

This place is New England! The building is one of the oldest buildings on the east cost. There is also a ghost. I didn't believe my friend and asked a few people on the wait staff about it. When I asked each person about it there face got very serious looking and then they nodded yes. Almost like they we're scared to say. I had the prime rib. It was almost as big as my head and it was maybe the best I have ever had! The bar area is my favorite place to eat in the winter. Dark, fireplace, big cozy chairs, great food and drinks.

Very well kept and convenient spot. They provide large portions and for fair prices. We liked the food very much and the staff members were super amiable and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Ambience. The freshest of seafood! Creamy chowder of fresh shrimp, scallops, and haddock. Mussels that melt in your mouth in a bowl of broth so delicious you close your eyes and dream as you savor each mouthful. Ample portions from a tantalizing menu demanding return visits. Did I mention ambience?

Across the board, the food was fantastic and the ambience even better. This is quintessential New England. Start with pan seared oysters or french onion soup, a hearty wine pour and choose your favorite entree.

NEVER disappointed when I dine here!! Today's visit was Thanksgiving and it was phenomenal! Turkey was juicy, chicken carbonara was to die for! Harvest Sangria's...Gimme more!! Loved enjoying the holiday here!

Love this place! Great food and people. Always consistent food. They have private rooms that are perfect for family dinners or larger parties. They will work with you!

It’s such a nice place to go. The tavern is my favorite spot. If antique homes are your thing, the house has some great features. The food is consistently good. Staff is accommodating and friendly.

It was a very lovely atmosphere, we were seated in the comfy leather chairs. My only complaint is that they are a bit low but that's a minor inconvenience at most. Really wonderful place to dine for a romantic dinner or intimate candle lit setting. It's a bit pricey but the portion sizes on the entrees easily make up for that!

Love this restaurant, but disappointed with the salmon pasta dish. Pieces of salmon smothered by a mealy handmade pasta swimming in an oily sauce- not worthy of a $26 price tag. May I suggest serving a portion of salmon, with better pasta (maybe nice angelhair)on the side along with broccoli with a lemon cream sauce. Presentation is more appealing, and doesn't require digging for bits of salmon.

We had our mother's 89th birthday there last night and it couldn't have been any better. The servers were so pleasant and nice and efficient. The food all came out delicious. Love this place. Great venue for a gathering.

Quality fine dining. After 6pm means a 30 minute wait. Small bar, excellent menu selection. A bit pricey but excellent quality!

Huge portions. Strong drinks. Very nice place. Average entre price is around $30-$35. Had the beef Wellington. Melt in your mouth goodness.
